These are our standard times, if you require anything different then please ask.
Our role is to ensure that everyone has a great time and dances as much as possible, not to play as loudly as possible. However, being an eight piece band there is inevitably a certain sound level necessary. The quietest that we can be is the volume of an acoustic drum kit, if you think that this might be too loud for you then
we are probably not the band for you! It is worth consulting with the staff at the venue of your event to see if they are suitable for a live band and if it is something
that they regularly have. In general, we try to be as sensitive to each individual situation as possible.
Yes, as long as you give us the correct information at the time of booking such as venue size and capacity. The 8-piece band always works with a sound company
either provided by us or you. For the budget 6-piece version of the band we use a smaller sound system that the band travels with for rooms of 150 people or less
for larger venues we need to hire in a sound company.
Yes. The band decides the content and running order of the sets but If you have one or two requests from our playlist then we will include them. If you have more
than that then please do tell us and we will include as many as possible - we do reserve the right to select the sets to ensure that the flow of the performance is at
it's best and that the dance floor is as full as possible.
Yes. Send us your requests at least 7 days prior to your event and we will include as many of them as time permits. We will accommodate as many requests on
the actual evening as possible but we don't have every song ever recorded, so if there is anything that you really want to hear then make sure you let us know in
plenty of time so that we can get hold of it.
Yes. First Dances can be played by the band or in their original version through the Disco sound system. If the song is not in the band's current repertoire then
please do ask us and we will advise as to whether it will be suitable for us to play.
As seen in photos on this website, the band wears dinner jackets with open collars.
In the UK:
a lockable changing room big enough for 8 people to change in and hang out whilst not playing for you (any comforts welcome!).
if we are required to be at the venue for 8 hours or less then 8 hot meals are standard. If we are required to be at the venue for longer than 8 hours then a
light lunch and hot meal for 8 is the standard requirement.
free parking should be provided for 6 cars and a long wheel base van (If we are sourcing the sound engineer.)
The same as above, plus:
*The cost of: hotel, flights for the musicians (and in some cases their instruments); meals for the
duration of the stay; transport.
*sound company - our technical requirements can be downloaded from the "Tech Downloads" page.
All of the above will be discussed at the time of booking.
Unfortunately all of our gigs are private functions so this is difficult to arrange. With this in mind we have made our website as helpful as possible, with a selection
of live videos, live audio recordings, photos, repertoire lists and client feedback - all of which are genuine!
If you have already hired a sound company for your event then we can simply send them a 'tech spec' stating our requirements. Or, we can hire in sound and
lighting. We have an excellent relationship with a great UK company who give us exclusively competetive rates.
In general, the more space the better! We can however fit into 7m-4m if necessary (6m-3m for the 6 piece band); when we are hiring in our sound company an
additional space of 1.5m-1m should be left for the sound engineer to the side or somewhere in front of the stage.

as much information as possible in the form as this will help in making our quote as accurate and as competitive as possible.
When we have agreed upon the details and a price you will be posted two copies of an Engagement Contract to be read, signed and returned with a deposit.
When this has been received the band will be officially booked!
We can take payment by BACS or cheque. A 10% deposit is due to book the band, the remaining balance is due 28 days before the event.
